We're Rebuilding This Site

We took this site apart and we're putting it back together — slower this time, and a little less sure of what it's for.

That uncertainty is kind of the point. Everything about how tools get made, how design gets done, and how people express things visually is shifting right now, faster than any of us can fully track. We've been sitting with that shift for a while, trying to figure out what we actually think about it rather than repeating what everyone else is saying.

So this space is going to be about three things: tools, design, and visual expression — all filtered through what's happening with AI right now. Mostly notes from people trying to understand something in real time, written before we're fully sure we've got it right.

We don't have a fixed answer for what any of this means yet. Some of what we post here will probably look wrong in six months. We're fine with that — better to write while we're still figuring it out than to wait for a tidy conclusion.
